Ok, I am sure that manyy of you have seen a downlight with the box attached( see attachement) to it.
If I have 5 of them about 5' apart all on the same circuit can MC be run from the attached fixture box to attached fixture box or do you have to tail to a separate junction box?

I don't see why not.

There would be no need for 4 identical KOs if you couldn't feed out to other lights from each one.

There is no problem with what you want to do.

There real nice lights, I put two in front of built in shelves and a slide dimmer, approx. 1' from the vertical creating
a slite flat arc on flat wood with the lamp as described (OP) creating a mood lighting or better yet theater mood lighting.

I went all silver thou... :grin:
