1 inch daredevil bit and an impact not a drill.Any thoughts or hacks for the best way to get through TJI joists?
I just hate them. Doing a house and there are no pre-punched KO's.
Just curious.
Carefull he might make them in a line down 1 tji and not through all the baysGive that helper a brand new 2" hole saw and a tape measure. Tell him you want those holes in line!

Usually there is a packet on what you can do with TJI's.Just curious.
I don't mind then as much now I have an electric stapler. Before I was annoyed by them.Usually there is a packet on what you can do with TJI's.
So, from what I remember, you can punch/drill an inch and half hole anywhere in a TJI.
Personally I like TJI's

Hole saw is only fast in those if it's never touched drywall or metal.Oh damn, forgot about the stapling, have to find my strap gun.
Thanks for the input, I was using a hole saw but I'll grab a few spade bits too.
