Basement remodel

Before I get my rough inspection done by the electrical inspector, I have run into sort of a problem. I have four recessed lights similar to the ones below:

The problem I have is that the light sits ontop the ceiling tile and it is not mounted to any studs. In addition, the electrical box is part of the light fixture.

Do I wire to the spot of the first light, and wait to run wire to the other lights once the ceiling tile is installed?
-or-
Do I need to install an electrical box at the location of each light in addition the the fixture electrical box?

Any advice would be appreciated!

you need to cut some tiles so that the lights will fit, and then screw the sliding brackets of the fixture to the grid.

i would mount additional boxes so that you can flex to the fixtures without exceeding the max flex length (of which i dont know).

i think you might benefit by having an electrician help you! it sounds like a very easy task for someone with a bit of wiring experience.
