You can use a welder set to amperage less than the rating of the motor. Dependeing on the size of the motor, it can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days. We did a 2500 hp 4160 motor that had became wet from a problem with the building. It took two days of drying via/a welder, and blowers. And megging every 4 hrs before we could start it.
