I am looking for a procedure to dry a 25 KV cable with EPR inner insulation and PVC outer jacket? The cables have discolored shields up to 60 meter from the end and water drips out of the cable. We are looking to use a VLF tester to dry them. Could someone tell me of a process that would work.. This work is in Canada

There is a N2 purge procedure in the "Southwire Power Cable Manual"
There is a PDF or you can order it

Yes, the problem is we are deep into Canada and getting N2 will take to long. We have a VLF tester. I have done cables with a hipot
I have not used a VLF and unsure how it would work to dry cables.
