Dual Compression Fittings

Anyone every see this asked for when installing EMT. What is the dual referring to?

Best guess.

Compression on both ends vs. a transition adapter with compression on one end and some other type on the other.

I would say raintight / compression.


Not all EMT compression fittings are raintight.
