I'm on a job where a motor was shipped with an Allen Bradley starter wired for 3P 208V. The problem is that the voltage at the location of the motor is 3P 480V.
I can wire the motor to run using the 480V but my coil voltage is 200V-240V. There is a sub panel nearby that I can run a low voltage (2P 208V) circuit over to operate the starter.
Are there any issues that would prevent me from doing this or that I should be aware of.
Thanks!
