Duct Less Split Disco?

What kind of 3 pole switch should I use for the inside unit of a ductless split system ? Will be installed in finished home on wall .

You can get a 3 pole toggle but what I prefer to do is to run my power to a standard dp switch near the unit and then go from there to the outside disco.
This way if either switch or disco is turned off the unit is de-energized. No need for the bulky 3 pole switch. BTW I think P&S makes a 3 pole snap switch

The units I have worked with before have shown that only one of the 3 conductors that run between the indoor and outdoor units is hot. So I've used a single pole switch as a disco for the indoor unit.

Yes. Usually for a 120V unit a hot for the indoor fan and controls, a neutral and a switch leg to control the condenser outdoors. So you would only need to switch the hot. However some larger 240V units would have no neutral so you would need a 2 pole switch.
