There is a 1 1/2" gap between a double duplex receptacle mounted in the gyp board wall behind a permanently installed wood cabinet.
Equipment on the cabinet shelves plug into the receptacles.
A hole through the cabinet is sufficent to allow removal of the cover plate and access the box.
I see nothing that clearly prohibits such an installation.
I've seen in other threads reference to 400.8(2), which seems like a stretch.
Am I missing something?
