Duplex Receptacles

What is the code recommendation on the positioning of the ground lug on duplex receptacles. Up or Down? And where in the code book can it be found?

Allen,

It's not in the code. There are personal opinions pro and con. If you use the search function you can find previous discussions on this.

BTW, we don't use Email addresses here. People can use the private message feature to get in touch with each other if they want to.
