Dwelling ADU egress lighting help

Dwelling, customer is building an attached ADU onto their home. It is separate from the rest of the home, has small kitchenette, bathroom.... Someone could live in it.

The front entrance to both the home, and the ADU share the same front patio. The two doors are about 15 feet from each other.

Does the ADU front entrance need a controllable light on the patio if there are two controllable patio lights (switch is just inside the door) at the home front entrance? Especially if someone could rent out the ADU?

Thanks for the response everyone. Customer decided to do two separate controls, was going to be a nightmare creating a three way switch.
