Table 310.15(B)(6) States that a number 2/0 copper conductor is good for 200 amps for dwellings services. Does that mean parallel 2/0 can be used for 400 amps?

Judging by the statement in the first sentence ?as listed in table 310.15(B)(6)? I would have to say no. That being said I can?t think of any good reason why not. They have a higher ampacity that the single 400Kcmil listed.
I have done retro fits from 200 to 400 amp residential serves before using paralleled 2/0 cu.
i used existing 2 in. riser installed 2nd riser and used double line lugs to enter 4oo amp meter base,Was not tagged for this installation.Anyone have a reason why this is not ok????????????????
