Hi all,
I typically use the standard calculation when calculating the main breaker / fuse sizes feeding an apartment.
Sometimes I feel like I'm not taking enough demand percentages... but I'm following what the NEC dictates.
For example... AC units, I take all at 100%; the clothes dryer, at 100%; 2 appliances (less than 4), at 100%; an EV car charger, at 100%. Am I doing this correctly? I can't really take anything less than 100% for these loads. and my main breaker sizes come out bloated in the end.
