E-Stop placement

How far from the floor can an E-Stop be located in a control cabinet? I thought the maximum height allowed was six feet.

not an nec issue.

this is covered in nfpa79 if you are dealing with machinery.

I think it only says they shall be "readily accessible", whatever that means.

There is a 6' rule for disconnect switches though.
