I am using e stops to kill the whole panel for gas station equipment. I was told that you need another means to turn power back on, instead of just using the E stop?

With shunt trips, the mechanical action of manually reseting the breaker, if you are using a latching contactor, then a seperate button, usually at the cash wrap is used to energize the latch coil. The problem with the latching contactors, is the grease drys out if they are not excercised frequently and will fail to operate. Usually when trying to re-energize once they have been unlatched.
