I hope this is the appropriate forum to ask this question.
I am a long time user of the Vision Infosoft Electrical Bid Manager EBM3k. I have been using the program installed on a XP 32 bit system with no problems.
I have just installed a new computer with XP 64 bit operating system. After installing EBM on this new computer I am unable to open the program. The returned response is that "Install has encountered and problem and needs to close".
When I go into the Vision folder and click on almost any of the .exe files I get the same error message. The only .exe files that do work are the Unwise (uninstall) and the Database Restore.
I have checked account permissions and registry access and all seems to be in order. I have been in contact with Vision's Tech Support people and they have not been able to isolate the problem. The problem could be a .dll call issue with the install when a .exe file is activated.
I am hoping someone out there may have encountered the same issue and has a resolution to fix the problem.
