Architect specced out the cheaper see through exit signs that you can see through. Now fire marshal is wanting back side covered to avoid confusion. Makes sense to me. Has anyone tried black out film for this?

Sexond question, my inspector keeps asking if exits are dual circuit. I tell him they are on generator with the rest of the egress lights.

Am I going to have an issue? Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety.

It will be. We already got a PCO to put arrows on them.

As long as the generator is a Life safety generator, than you shouldn't have any issues.

Also, maybe if you used the mirrored type tint, it may work.

We've used spray paint in the past.
