Is it a NEC code violation to install current transformers (CT) in an electrical service disconnect?

I have never seen a disconnect with a ct installed in it. I suspect if there is adequate room then this may not be a violation. Maybe someone else can help.
I also think that 110.3 can be used to red tag the install.
