EGC in parallel nipples

I know I need to run an EGC in each conduit of a parallel circuit, but what if the conduits are 18" nipples up to tray - can I just run one EGC or do I need one for each nipple?

Thanks, Ryan. I have read that section and I can only assume, since it doesn't say anything about nipples, that all the rules apply to nipples as well as conduits.

I was hoping that there might be an exception somewhere for nipples, but i guess not.
