Hey Guys,
Quick question :)
Is there a Code requirement to run EGC with supply conductors to a piece of equipment that is already bonded to station ground grid via grounding pigtail. The equipment in question would contain an integral panel board an devices which may need a ground point for reference. So even though the metal enclosure is bonded to the grid, the internal equipment may need a separate ground..
 
Yes, EGC must run with the circuit conductors. See 300.3(B). If the EGC is not within the same raceway as the circuit conductors it raises the impedance during a ground fault.
