Man, I wish I was that talented. If you look closely, it's not like he had a stencil or pencil line drawings to follow as he used his unusual medium, he created that entire image one dot at a time from his head. In addition, there is no way to "erase" any errors, you can't "un-burn" the paper. Maybe he was looking at a photo of it off out of camera range, but still, that's something very hard to pull off with such great results.
Thanks for sharing that, it's a keeper.
My guess is that he was projecting a photo of Tesla onto his work surface, and he adjusted the camera settings/angle/timing so that it wasn't visible in the video.

Or, and I think it is very possible he just has that much talent.
Is that your crib out there in san fran there jraef?
Pretty cool.
I remember a Dateline program with a kid who invented some dot something and sold it to Yahoo on his 18th birthday for $300MM (he had to wait until he was old enough to sell it; he was 15 when he came up with it). He has a penthouse in san fran with a "G" (for his last name) inlaid in the elevator lobby that opens to his penthouse and he calls that "The G Spot".
Maybe, but I am skeptical. The time lapse way the video was shot leaves plenty of time to turn the projector off between frames, or with editing he could have excised frames where the projector was on. You never see him draw a long line in continuous frames, it's always zoomed in on filling operations. Maybe he did it freehand, but I doubt it.Or, and I think it is very possible he just has that much talent.
