Electric Fence Crimping

Right here.
Anybody know what the crimp die dimension is for electric fence splicers and taps? I've got an electric fence repair coming up. I have every die under the sun, so I'm sure I have one that will work, but I can't find any crimp dimension data online anywhere. I want to try to avoid buying a Nicopress style fence crimp tool if I can help it, since I'm sure I have a suitable die already. Help me out...

Thanks for your willingness to help, Bob. Those are some of the links that I have puzzled through, among others, looking for the crmip dimensions. It's got me ticked off enough that I may just go to Tractor Supply tomorrow evening with a caliper and measure the crimp cavities on the fence crimpers they have for sale and post it online someplace. This is 2007, for crying out loud. Don't people know that everything a man needs to know should be online someplace? :smile:

I remember visiting my cousin upstate on thier farm and I grabbed the electric fence. I was speaking in toungues not invented yet.

At least 40 years ago I peed on one once :mad: Bad idea, that was worse than getting bucked off the horse with my foot caught in the stirrup and getting drug on the ground. :mad:
Edit to add: I was about 7 years old at the time
