Can anyone help with electric signs and the listing requirements. 600.3 seems pretty straightforward, that all electric signs require that they be "listed". My understanding of this is that sign shops are required to either have the signs inspected and label applied in the shop by a UL (or similar listing agency) when the are made, or, through an agreement, and fee paid, they have the ability to "self inspect" and then apply the listing label themselves. In any case, THE QUESTION IS: are all electric signs covered by 600.3 required to have a listing label applied on the exterior of the sign? Thanks for your input.
