electric stove+ ac demand load

I am totaling load of 80 unit existing apartment that is reciving electrical stove + window mount a.c units.
Can use 220_55 for stove demand and same time use 220_84 for additional demand

...except where it says you can. You are essentially correct, though. The demand of 220.84 is applied to the sum of loads.

Yet, for this particular situation, 220.84(A)(2) Exception may apply, and states if the demand load under Part III for the same dwelllings?without electric cooking?exceeds the demand load under Part IV?with electric cooking (based on 8kW per unit)?the lesser of the two is permitted to be used. Note that for this determination you must calculate each unit at 8kW for cooking regardless of actual namplate... but keep in mind, it is only a determination calculation... not the actual demand load calculation.
