Two pole 50 amp breaker keeps popping...with all burners on and oven on my amp probe said 43 amps on one leg and 38 on the other.... Gave it a couple minutes and breaker popped...wire was very hot to the touch... discoloration at breaker termination...

Going to replace breaker and recommend getting new stove...

What are your thoughts on troubleshooting the issue...what am I missing. Thanks

Why a new stove? What is the load shown on the nameplate?

If the breaker is getting hot with a 43 amp load the wire termination to the breaker, the breaker termination to the buss bars or a defective breaker is the issue. If you are going to replace the breaker you need to inspect the buss stabs for damage.
