The term does not show up in the UL White book. However, the UL category QCIT for METALLIC OUTLET BOXES says "This category covers ...conduit bodies, conduit boxes ...". So when a conduit body is marked with its volume it may also be used as a conduit box, if listed as such.
I've seen a variety of covers for conduit bodies that contain receptacles, switches, and bushed openings to use them as a weatherhead. I did a service call in a church at the beginning of the week that had push/pull switches mounted in T-body covers for the sanctuary lighting.
