Electrical control panel nameplate

There is NEC code 409.110 that requires a number of items relating to the control panel marking. So does CSA 2-100. They do not require interrupt rating to be mentioned on the panel name plate. Is there any need for this information to be added on the name plate? What are the key items that do we need to look at in a control panel, to avoid catastrophic failure of the components to safely protect the panel and personnel?

The interrupting rating (AIC) only applies to OCPD.
The more appropriate rating would be the Short Ciruit Current Rating (SCCR) which encompasses the fault tolerance of all of the components in the panel. Your nameplate shows this as the SC withstand value.

I agree with Jim. The notion of "interrupting" means that when too much current is flowing, a breaker will open to terminate the event. If the available fault current exceeds the breaker's interrupting rating, it could cause the breaker's metal contacts to overheat, melt, and become welded to each other. After that happens, the breaker can no longer open to clear the fault. There is nothing inside a control panel that will open to clear a fault, so the panel itself is not given an interrupting rating.
