Electrical Cost Estimating

After taking my board examination for Registered Electrical Engineer, I worked directly for a power company, concerning mainly only the transmission side (transmission lines/substation). Now my world turned upside down when I decided to change field. I am currently working in a construction company dealing with interior/exterior building wiring. This is very new to me. Not really familiar with materials and stuff. I don't usually go to the field. Please help me to study. Thanks.

What type of elec. construction?
Get books from your supply house.
Get out into the field and see what is done.
Talk with your field men; (pizza). They do this work with or with out instruction.
