Question for you.....I had someone ask if they could get a timer that was somewhat like an hour meter but only worked when a circuit was underload and pulled current. I know your basic hour meter runs from voltage but I need one that runs off current. Any ideas????

Depending on your circuitry you can use a relay (with a low voltage, high current coil is series with the line).

You can also check out Time Mark Corporation. They have a selection of Current Monitors. Just drill down on "Catagory" to Current Monitors and hit "Go". I believe you can get them at Grainger.
