Air Tubing in electrical cable track
I need to use continuous flex cable one 24vdc ,one 480vdc (motor control) and one air tube in the same cable track. Reason : not space.
I don't know where i can find information about that in the NEC
The article 300.8 don't specify nothing about cable track.
I have seen some robots with mixet electrical cable with air. Are thie rong?

Thank You mbresit

by cable track do you mean a movable track to contain cables, folding and unfolding with the movement of the machine? Then I believe its ok because the conductors are in flex conduit or cord and the air line is simply run near the electric..imo

not sure if it is rong or not. could you provide more information ? Is this a vehicle, mining equipment ?

I'm not sure what you mean by a cable track either. Do you mean a cable tray, or ladder tray?

Just because they can run everything together in a piece of equipment (like a robot for example) doesn't mean its OK for premisis wiring systems. Two totally different animals.
