When you say essential load, are you talking Healthcare and article 517? If so describe your situation in more detail, please.

Dear Sir,

It is related to Pedestrian underpasses., Where the power cable for Emergency Source and Normal Source are combined in the same Cable tray? Kindly advise, it is acceptable by the code? if not, Which particular clause or articles it belongs?

What kind of load is this ATS serving? Is it an Article 700, 701, 702 or 517 load? Is the normal source an Article 230 utility service?

It's probably permissible, but I would argue that this would be an unwise design decision. Any event that might cause damage to the primary supply cable is likely to affect the emergency feed as well. For my two cents, I'd like to see both horizontal and vertical separation of these cables, in the neighborhood of 5 - 10 feet, if feasible.
