Hi Guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has ever taken the written test for employment as an electrician for the port authority of NY & NJ. Due to the economic recession business was slow as you all know, and i figured i would submit my resume. I recently recieved a letter stating that i was excepted and i am eligable to take the exam. I called and was told there is no study guide nor is ther any books to help me prepare. So i was wondering if anyone has taken this exam , and maybe can help me with some info.:)

Thanks in advance

I also received a letter to show up for the exam but what I want to know is this for an apprenticeship.

what you have to take is a Civil service test and also an lectrical theory test that is given by the authority, i know because it works the same way for NYCSCA (New York City School Construction Authority) i am an employye with the SCA. but it all depends on for which job you are aplying for. either Apprentice or mechanic.
