Electrical Panel inside wardrobe in guest room

Is it possible/Permitted to replace the electrical panel cover with a wooden door inside the wardrobe, please see attached photo

I would think panel covers are metal to reduce the chance of fire spread. Replacing them with wood doesn't seem wise.

No - NEC 110.3 (C) -
and mind you the entire panel should be removed from the wardrobe. NEC 240.24 (D)

I believe it’s a lighting control panel from a European manufacturer. I don’t recognize the relay pack. Color scheme looks like Legrand/Bticino but I’m not certain.
