i am new to the forum so please bear with me:smile: i am an electrical journeyman who has assumed the position of electrical engineer. the problem i have is that 1) no bus duct lableling! (working on that) 2) having trouble determining what the labels should say on the bus duct (other than marking what they control) 3) what labels should be on panels/disconnects? note: this is an older plant that was built in the 70's and has been badly abused! does anybody know where i can find flashguards for ite industrial panels?

2005 NEC article (110.16) regarding flash protection requirements that states:

?Switchboards, panel boards, industrial control panels, and motor control centers or other similar equipment, that are in other than dwelling occupancies and are likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized shall be field marked to warn qualified persons of potential electric arc flash hazards.

?The marking shall be located so as to be clearly visible to qualified persons before examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance of the equipment.

?FPN No. 1: NFPA 70E-2004, Electrical Safety Requirements for Employee Workplaces, provides assistance in determining severity of potential exposure, planning safe work practices, and selecting personal protective equipment.

?FPN No. 2: ANSI Z535.4-1998, Product Safety Signs and Labels, provides guidelines for the design of safety signs and labels for application to products
