Since you are a utility power engineer, I would recommend you interface with others in your company who are familiar with your system and explain what your problem is about. Improving the power system losses doesn't tell anyone what you are talking about. You may have a problem with power factor or harmonics, voltage drop or overloaded circuit conductors. Do you run a Delta system or a wye? The questions are endless.
