Electrical room doors

Can we cut vents in the doors to a electrical room for better ventilation .1600 amp main switch in this room . The drywall goes to the roof deck so I was wondering if this is a Fire Marshall question !

Is the electrical room fire rated? If it isn't, the door shall not be fire rated and door can have louver for better ventilation. But you should not install any ventilation fan on the door if that is what you want to do.
