Is there a difference between an Electrical Room and an Electrical Vault? Article 110 mentions Electrical vault

In my opinion, the difference in the two is simply the manner in which they are constructed. Much electrical equipment can be installed in any room of any construction and that room designated the "electrical room". That room would simply have to meet rerquirements such as those pointed out in 110.26.
Certain high voltage equipment and certain transformers must be installed in a "vault".
You might look at 110.31(A), 230.212 and 450.22 - 25
Vault construction (for transformers) is discussed in Art 450 Part III (450.41-)
