I am reviewing an electrical room before stamping to go to permit plan check. The electrical room have a sort of a rectangular walkway around the gears which are in the center and in the back against the wall SEE SKETCH BELOW.
Does anyone know if there is an article that will provide info on the width of the walkway?

That would be in the IBC. 36" sticks in my mind. You'd be well advised to plan for aisles big enough to accomodate replacement of the largest cabinet width.

110.26 if 600 V or less
Table 110.34 (A) is also an answer.
110.72 Cabling Working Space since your front to front.

Also
Depend on where's that big gears going, the voltage of your service, the lower 500 (articles) and 505, Unclassified Locations, can help release some consideratons.
