With all of these restrictions, why would you install aluminum wiring for residential wiring. You have hundreds of connections to make that will expose you to a possible loose connection problem.

Aluminum conductors is not a problem for service and feeder conductors as a general rule - assuming you have terminals that accept aluminum conductors and same for maybe a 40 or 50 amp branch circuit.

Most common problems was back in 1960s and 1970's where solid 10 and 12 AWG conductors were used mostly in NM sheathed cable. I don't think you can even purchase this product new anymore nor have you been able to for 30+ years. So most the problems we have are dealing with existing installations that used it.

Is the torque value on terminals same as copper conductor?

I have not seen a designation on lets say meter mains, lugs take either copper or aluminum and they have a set torque value. Torque value from other post on here is not really accurate, its just a group of people agreed on those number . To many variables to have a proper number.

That's why the Alloy is specified (Since 1983). This alloy does not require anti-ox or whatever you want to call the compound.
