Hi, I'm trying to get some information for a friend who will be moving to the US from Europe. He has been doing an electrician course in Europe which is a 2 year program with alternating classes and practical experience. He will be moving to TN within the next year and needs to know the various career paths for electricians here. He also has a bachelor's degree in computer science. I've had a very hard time getting any information other than "you just have to put in the time." It seems to me that taking formal classes should be beneficial. Can someone help me out?
