Electrician Killed at 36yrs old months before his wedding

I don't know about the general public, but I did see an OSHA report a few years back noting that more electricians were now injured by ladders than by electricity, so somebody must be doing something right.

My "favorite" safety cringe was a trouble light cobbled together by subway workers.
They mounted five 120-volt lightbulbs on a tuba foe, wired them in series, and used jumper cables to tap the 600-volt third rail.
(this was about 50-70 years prior to the creation of OSHA)
