Does anybody know what the correct material is for the law side of the electrical contractors license?

I don't have time to take a class and would appreciate if anyone could help me out, I already have Mike Holt's exam prep workbook... And I just passed my state certificate exam and would like to get my C-10. Thank you.

Mike Holts guide is overkill for the c10. As far as the business and law portion goes, Lexus Nexus (I may have misspelled this) sells a fairly cheap contractors law and business guide that will cover what is on the test.

i recommend to take crash course. $125 per crash course. Law and trade. you probably won't need the trade crash course because the test on the trade is a joke. However, for sure take a crash course on the law part. well worth the $125.

I used mikes exam prep book to refresh memory and purchased separate book on law from CSLB website also dont know if you are aware but ca requires x amount of years in trade and your boss has to sign a paper stating your experience in the trade.

I agree here, when I tested 1996 I remember over 50% being law and laws change randomly. The money you spend now is just part of start-up expences. ps welcome to the forum :)
