I just want to make sure I'm wiring this right when I get to the job.
It's a wireless remote that unlocks a door when the button is pressed. The remote is located in an office.
Before the office is where the door is and that's an open space by a cash register. That area won't have access to the remote control . I'm going to put a regular toggle switch to close the contacts.
Just want to double check that I can put the switch in between normally open and common. When they flip the switch it closes the connection and unlocks the door then they just have to unflip the switch so the connection is open again and the remote will work.
When I got to the job half of the stuff was apart and the switch is already there. They have the remote, they have the switch right now it only works with the switch because they're missing this receiver. Once I order the receiver I want it to work with the switch under the register and the wireless remote in the office
