Subscription to to NEC Plus is closer to what they used to offer in earlier editions. It is an on line application so you must have internet to use it - not so much of a problem for smartphone users unless you don't have signal either - it happens out here in Gods country.
Included is 2002-2011 NEC editions as well as handbook commentary that can be toggled on/off if you desire to see or not see the commentary.
Also included is 2000-2012 editions of 70E.
Throughout the NEC there are links to UL related materials - particularly white pages relating to section where the link is located. There are also links to associated ROP's where there was changes.
If a section refers you to another section - that section number is an embedded link to that particular section - just click on it to see what it says in that section.
With subscription they sent a soft bound cover NEC also, subscription was about $130/ year I believe. I don't think it is too bad considering what you all get, and is available to you on any computer with internet access - just have to remember your user name and password.
