can you run emt through the mechanical room of an elevatoe. This conduit has NOTHING to do with the elevator.

The short answer is no as Ramdiesel points out. The elevator code is ASME A17.1, you might try the library for access to a copy for other issues associated with elevators outside the NEC's part.
