I have a 40 HP 3 Phase 208 V Elev. Motor. I have 2 Questions.
1. Are most or all Elevator Motors considered intermittent duty?
2. Do I have to size my O.C.P.D. according to the Peak starting current or will a O.C.P.D. hold at a lesser value? I believe the running current is 121 Amps and Peak is 278 Amps.
