Elevator on a generator (NYC)

I have a existing New York City residential high rise building with fire pump, fire alarm system, (2) elevators and some emergency lighting in random areas...
The building does not have a backup generator.

The building wants to install a backup generator for just 1 elevator.

Here are my questions:

Am I correct for saying that the fire pump, fire alarm system and emergency lighting are required to be backed up by the generator as well and that we can't just have the elevator only?

Can the fire alarm system, elevator and emergency lighting share the same ATS?

Do I still have to put emergency lighting on a generator if the lights have batteries? What about exit lights? exit lights have batteries too.

What if some common egress corridors and rooms do not have emergency lighting? are they required to be converted to emergency?
