Elevator Question

For a commercial hydraulic elevator, about 15 ft lift, what would the typical pump motor HP be?
How far it is lifting won't matter much - How much it is lifting would be a determining factor. For all we know it could be lifting cars in the garage?

Otherwise nothing is typical. Sorry. (Could be anything?)

For a 3 story elevator, I would expect something in the 30-50 HP range.

Since your elevator is only 1 floor, I'm not sure if that reduces the HP or not.

I always wind up calling the elevator rep., and he usually says "its probably about XX HP". Then we never know for sure until the submittals are recieved.
