Hi
I have a new 12-unit , 3-story apartment building with 3 phase elevator

what size is the elevator usually??

is it; 29000w, 40 horse power@ 240V
protected by 125A cir brker through set of #1 copper


what you think????????

lift is ~ 20' assuming first floor is btm landing
avg cap 6000 lb
speed 150-200 fpm
hydraulic 15-20 hp
geared twice as much
I doubt a traction for this application

are you saying it IS 40 hp 240/3?
or asking the estimated HP?

40 hp ~ 104 x 125% = 130 A #1 (ignoring V drop)
150 cb
if a certified pnl it should have a nameplate
