Currently the emergency power circuits are co-mingled and do not meet NFPA codes for the appropriate separation of the mechanical, life safety and critical branches. This project is to properly install a code compliant emergency power system as outlined in the construction drawings.

Above is the outline we were given to separate load. Per code life safety, critical and EM need to be separate? Thanks.

Life safety and critical are for a hospital. They cannot be in the same boxes, or raceways with each other or other wiring (with a few exceptions) per NEC 517.31(C)(1).

Emergency circuits are for emergency lighting and cannot occupy the same boxes or raceways as other circuits (with a few exceptions) per NEC 700.10(B).
